Blue Mountains Bushcare Conference 2013 Sharing Bushcare Energy

Network logo

Exciting news! You are invited to the inaugural Blue Mountains Bushcare Conference and Workshop. Come along and hear such expert speakers as Margaret Baker, who will talk on plants and geology in the mountains. Council staff will also present information on Council’s weed and bushland management strategies and Blue Mountains projects including grant funded projects.

Want to do something a bit bigger at your site?  What help is available to develop and fund your project / big idea?  How do you get to talk with other Bushcare volunteers in your catchment or landscape type? These topics and more will be covered in our afternoon workshops. Bring your enthusiasm, ideas and questions. We hope to have an enjoyable and productive day.  Lunch and morning tea will be provided.

This event is an initiative of the Blue Mountains Bushcare Network, your policy and planning network for local bushcare.

Where: Lawson Community Centre

When: 8.30am to 3.00pm, Saturday 31 August 2013
