Biodiversity Discovery Day at Wentworth Falls Lake
Saturday 9 September, 2023 @ 9:30 am – 2:00 pm
Come and celebrate Biodiversity Month at Wentworth Falls Lake
Learn about rare plants and animals that live in your local area, the water they rely on and what we can do to protect this catchment.
This day will showcase a drone display and how they are used in conservation efforts. There will be waterbug collection and demonstration, meet the oldest plant in the catchment, find out how swamps work in Wentworth Falls and make some plant pressings to take home.
This free, family friendly event will include tours that leave from left of the Sinclair Avenue Carpark near the fenced play area.
