You’re invited to a planting ceremony in honour of Morag Ryder, Bushcare Legend and one of the most inspiring and dedicated Bushcare volunteers the Blue Mountains has ever had.

Join the Braeside Bushcare Group in a special Bushcare session to commemorate Morag’s commitment to the Braeside catchment, share memories of Morag over morning tea, and contribute to the post-fire weeding efforts. Morag worked incredibly hard on controlling the weeds in Shaws Paddock for many years prior to her death in 2019 – a patch which was burnt in the 2020 Grose Valley fire and where Broom and Gorse have subsequently germinated in very high density.
