All-day Eucalypt ID Workshop

Have you ever wondered what species of Eucalypts are on your Bushcare site? Want to know more about Eucalypts of the Blue Mountains?

Bushcare has organised a free all-day Eucalypt Id Workshop. This event will be run by local ecologists Drs Judy and Peter Smith.

The day will be divided into two components – a classroom component in the morning with a focus on an introduction to Blue Mountain Eucalyptus species and a practical guide to keying them out followed by a field trip to Knapsack Reserve to experience the challenges of field ID. Each Participant will receive a hard copy of the Blue Mountains LGA Eucalypt key.

Places are limited to 20 registered Bushcare volunteers

Transportation

Bushcare have booked the Community Bus to transport participants between event locations. It will also be available for before/after event pick ups and drop offs from train station carparks and will return via station carparks. Please include in the RSVP if you would like to be picked up/dropped off and your station location. You will be contacted a few days before with an estimated pick up time

Additional Information

This will be an all weather event – please bring/wear appropriate gear including hats,sturdy shoes and water bottles.

Feel free to bring binoculars. notebooks and pens as well as any questions you might want to ask!
