The Deanei Forest is one of the last remnants of Shale Cap Forest communities in the Blue Mountains. The Deanei Reserve Bushcare Group has been working to restore it by weeding and replanting. Here’s your chance to contribute to the tree planting efforts and learn about Bell Miner Associated Dieback (BMAD) and other work being undertaken to bring the forest back for the future and enjoy morning tea refreshments with the hard working volunteers and staff involved.

The Forest for the Future project was funded by the NSW Environmental Trust – working in partnership with the NSW Save our Species program and Hawkesbury River County Council.
